Wind Vanes

Wind vanes is a tool which is moveable and attached to any elevated object like top of any tower, roof etc. It is used to show the direction of wind. It is constructed in such a way that both sides of its axis have half its weight but areas exposed to the wind are unequal. It minimizes the force of wind and causes its rotation.

Construction of weathervane causes the end with smallest area to turn into wind and points to the source of wind.
