If you have a north wind blowing the weathervane will be pointing north straight into the wind. It is important to know that trees, heavy brush can cause wind swirling to the weathervane which will still head into the wind – just that the wind may be coming from different directions when Mother Nature makes this decree.

Since we use real copper to make our weathervanes – each weathervane will tarnish quickly and will turn brown, black and then a patina green. This is natural and unless treated by the customer is going to happen. Mother Nature does what Mother Nature wants, and she loves her Patina Copper.
