++ Each Cupola is handmade and may very slightly in appearance from the images shown. All cupola measurements are appoximate. ++ Our larger cupolas may have more window panes and louvers then shown to ensure the cupola windows and louvers are proportional to the cupola size. ++ Each cupola is weathervane ready to take a 3/4” weathervane rod and does not require a weathervane mount. ++ Our cupola measurements are taken from the largest point across which is normally the roof of the cupola – measured from left to right. Example a 36” cupola has a 36” square roof. To get the overall height of the cupola dimensions you can click on the cupola picture for more information. ++ If you have an extra large roofline, you can choose either a large cupola or a few smaller cupolas to space out over the distance of the roofline. ++ All of our louvered cupolas and window/louvered combo cupolas are made for venting. When using for venting, please be sure that you have your carpenter flash up to the base of the cupola to keep moister and water from seeping into the cupola. Also do not forget to caulk your weathervane rod at the top so water does not drip down into the structure. ++ If requesting patina for your cupola, please note that this is just a sprayed on application and is only used to help speed up the natural patina process. Time and Mother Nature is still the best at making a cupola roof patina. ++ When choosing a cupola, we recommend that the rule of thumb used is 1 1/4” Cupola inches for each 1 foot of unbroken roof line.

It is generally recommended to have approximately 1 1/4 inches of cupola roof for every foot of unbroken roof line.
For example for a 24' roofline we would recommend a 30" cupola.
